This page is being published on a temporary basis to share basic information about the ongoing COVID-19 infectious disease outbreak in San Francisco (population: 884,000). The San Francisco Bay Area has been under a “shelter in place” order since March 17, 2020 with a gradual loosening of restrictions since May 8 and occasional roll-backs.
